Ye of course. My name is Jack Bailey. I am currently doing an FdSc Police Studies course offered by the University of Plymouth, through Duchy College. The project is based around the results I gather from this questionnaire and other sources. The idea is to identify possible correlations to the attitudes of the british police being routinely armed. The correlations would be measured using the areas covered in the 'personal details' section of the questionnaire (i.e. age and gender), as well findings from other sources. I would like to have as fair a sample as possible, hence the forum post. It is in the hope to reach a wider and more varied target audience. If you could answer the questions as fully as possible it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I'm sure there was a previous thread here with a survey monkey questionaire attached. I filled in the last one, but don't intend to do it again. I think the answers you get from Police, will be generally the same as you would get from the public. There are very few of us who want routinely armed with lethal weapons.
