I know what you mean..............however, I've just resigned myself to not passing the bloody thing anyway so, as I already know the result I've disassociated myself from result day. Smile

The email will arrive when it does...........

Last year they came out on 27th April, so I think we have some time to wait yet!

Is it true that on the day of the results you just get told if you have passed or failed, and you then have to wait longer for your mark and a breakdown of the results ?

Not last year it wasn't.

I got an email saying 'Fail' and the percentage with some other figures (like how many were above me and below me, what the average was, etc.).

I got two emails, but can't remember what was on which - I think one was the pass (or fail in my case) and another that might have included how well (or not) I did in each of the 4 sections, broken down into sub-question types.......

So, no.  You'll get to find out your percentage at the time that you find out whether you passed or not.

Some Forces do it differently. One Force that I know phones the successful Candidates on the Mobile Number they originally gave. The rule of thumb is that if you get a call then you have passed, the failed Candidates receive an email requesting them to phone a number for confirmation that they have failed. This Force that I know also publishes the successful Candidates on the Inranet, but not the scores as they come out as personal feedback with breakdown in due course.

Hi all

The exam seems ages ago! I was doing really well at not thinking about it - until yesterday!

After the exam I just felt numb, where as some people were able to feel positive and remember questions it was and still is a complete blur to me. I am really not expecting a pass but it will just be nice to know one way or the other now as I've been approached for several new roles and I feel everything is on hold until I know for sure.

Is it true they are out next week??? I'm on leave next week so no access to internal email so guess I will have to phone up.

No point saying Good Luck to you all as its too late now - fingers crossed for lots of passes is more appropriate.

6 weeks doesn`t seem a long time but it`s starting to get to me now- I`ve also been offered a new role and seen jobs advertised but all dependant on how I do in the exam..oh well maybe this time next week. I felt ok after the exam , as time has gone on I`m convinced I`ve now failed!! fingers crossed for ev1.
