Keith

I'll let you know at the end of June how difficult it was Wink

I've just posted a reply to someone about recruitment role plays and I think it is worth repeating the warning I gave there. It is a disciplinary offence to reveal details of the actual scenarios used in the exam, so please don't mention any specifics in your replies folks. It would be a shame to throw away all that hard work.

Having said that, I didn't think that there were any lowballers. There was one scenario where I didn't have a clue what I was looking for, but I waffled on for five minutes anyway and hopefully picked up a few marks. All I'll say is it was the one involving a road. Confused

Now can I welcome you to the exclusive brotherhood of Inspectors?

Thank you Pen

Unfortunately, due to the policies in our force, we now have to do an interview board. As the boards have only just been done for last year's part 2 passes, it could be twelve months before the two pips become a permanent fixture.

However, I have plans to get pipped up on an acting basis as soon as possible.

Do I have to wear the brown gloves though? Confused

Of course you do. An Inspector is not dressed without them. Then there's the Senior Officers' dining room (use it the once just to say you've done it before returning to the sanity of the canteenWink); the better quality cap (it is a little bit more comfortable); a bigger locker; and a strip of yellow material that some like to wear down the centre of the back of the jacket.Wink

They are (or were) of very good quality and very comfortable. Mind you, I don't often wear any gloves.
