Complaints against officers

Hi  All,

         Just thought I would share the ludicrus situation in my wonderful force(yea I know we are meant to be a "service,") in relation to con to sgt promotion this year.

If you are sitting comfortably I wiil begin;in 2005 at the third attempt I finally passed Ospre part 2 and as a result had to sit an internal part 3(a written exercise) which I managed to fail coming 105th,with 100 being successful.In my station I was the only succesful candidate at Ospre part 2 in 2005 with 2 other officers failing.The 2 officers subsequently sat and passed part 2 in 2006 and our marvellous organisation decided that there was no need for a part 3 this year and those with part 2 will be promoted.

For those of you still awake we get to the crux of the matter;it has been decided those who passed part 2 in 2006 will be offered positions first then those sucessful in 2005 etc.(yes thats right those who failed the same day I passed will be promoted before me.)

Im I just feeling sorry for myself or does this appear slightly strange.Our federation has sought legal advice and been told this is legal. Yor comments please

Hope you have since got promoted!!, Is your force currently recruiting Sergeant's on Promotion?

Still not promoted;organisation couldnt organise a piss up in a brewery.i believe we are taking people on transfer;god knows why they want to come here.
