kevinh 0
I am now in the position of having a spare desktop PC which is only a couple of years old and works perfectly, 2.8. P4 etc etc. Anyone any ideas how to put it to good use. Dont want to give it away and would like to utilise it in the home. Any bright printable ideas from the tech types out there. jigsaw 0
Fill it to the top with games and develop a nice case of rsi, whiling away the hours with zapping rockets?
Penbwlch 810
Network the two and use the old one for back-up? You could also use the spare one to keep an eye on the forum while browsing elsewhere on the main PC.

Uncle Vanya 5
If you are getting rid of your old Computers, dont forget, your Hard Drive may have senitive personal data on it... Remove the old Hard Drive and wack it with a large hammer so it is made useless.... the Hard Drive that is....
kevinh 0
Thanks. I have linked to the tele in the lounge and linked it to others elsewhere in the house. Sad I know. When asked why would you do that I used the old favourite " Because I can"
