Hi

I am stumped by a problem that I am having with a document that has been created as a template to a report writing process. Its clear that tables have ben used under different sub headings for example Details of investigation. I am down to para 33 in a particular part of the table. When I look at print preview I can see all that I have typed. However when I print off the document anything after para 17 is missing, going off the bottom of the page. I think my problem is that it is a template created in Word XP or prior. I am now writing it on my PC which has Office 2003. Is there anything I can do to make this template compatible with the newer Office Version. I have tried saving it in Office 2003 but that hasnt helped. I have also tried fitting to A4 in print options and again still have the same issue. Any advice gratefully received.

I'm not too sure (I'm still on Word 2000) but have you tried adjusting the margins in Page Setup?

One other thought is to try adjusting the type size (making it smaller).

Other than that, I'm stumped.

The new Microsoft Office (or whatever it's called) is a pile of junk. I

had a laptop go kaput on me and the new one had this rubbish on it. So

I just went to the MS website and downloaded Word and Excel. If you're

document will work on the older version then I suggest you try the same.

Hi

Thanks for your advice. Resolved this today. Apparently you place cursor on the right hand side of the last table created. Press return and another table, para numbered is created. Again thanks for the replies.
