Hi everyone. This is my first post, so please be gentle. Also, if this post is in the wrong group, admins please feel free to move it to the right place. OK, here's our dilemma... We are a living history group (WW1/WW2 and Post War), and we have been established for some years now, with our membership constantly on the rise. Most of our members are ex military, so we pretty much have a good all round knowledge of the weapons that we handle. Without exception, ALL our weapons are either deactivated (with certificates), Replicas ("Denix" mostly), solid resin, and in two cases, plastic self assembly models (smoke canisters). Our Aims and Objectives The PFOA is a non-profit making and non-political Association. The PFOA is funded by member subscriptions, fundraising and donations. The PFOA is a support Association for firearms officers, ex firearms officers, other officers of any rank involved in police firearms operations and their families. We work alongside ACPO, College of Policing, The Police Service, Police Federation, Superintendents Association and The National Crime Officers Association. How it started In 2005 myself and a fellow colleague (and good friend) Jack Webb were involved in writing a Post Incident Seminar for the Police Federation of England & Wales. At the same time we were representing Ch/Inspector Neil Sharman and PC Kevin Fagan involved in the 'table leg shooting'. During the investigation Neil and Kevin were arrested on suspicion of Murder amongst other things!
